Do you have chronic pain or discomfort that's influenced by certain positions or activities? It may be mechanical, or, musculoskeletal in nature. Does massaging or foam rolling the area help temporarily but not long-term? Have you been to doctors, physical therapists, and/or chiropractors who leave you with no real solutions? Surgery is not always the answer. Correcting posture is more complex than sitting upright and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Neck pain may have little to do with the neck—same with the back. Get ahead of your pain so you don’t have to salvage what’s left down the line. Insurance-based physical therapy practices get paid per service, not per positive outcome. Electrical stimulation, ultrasound, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise are examples of services. The more units billed, the more money made. Unfortunately, insurance-based clinics commonly quadruple-book patients who don’t seem to improve. Associated clinicians spread themselves thin on a daily basis, a formula for mediocrity.
Insurance providers don’t dictate our care, so we aren’t incentivized to rack up unnecessary units. As an out-of-network practice, we uphold the integrity of our brand and cannot afford nor desire to play games. We don’t toss you to an aide after 15 minutes. We provide specific solutions for specific problems to minimize your pain and prevent flare-ups down the road.
Physical Therapy
It's time to take a different approach to healing. Addressing the site of symptoms may provide transient relief but not target the cause of symptoms in many cases. That’s partly why people who have “tried everything” develop chronic pain. If you have stomach pain, you'll likely check what food you're eating, or what's going on at the mouth. Similarly, if you have neck pain, it makes sense to check for problems elsewhere to see if they are contributing to issues above or below.
Don’t give up. Even if you’ve had pain for several years and your doctor recommends surgery, that doesn’t mean your issues cannot be addressed conservatively. Undergoing an invasive procedure doesn’t correct muscular imbalances nor optimize how your body interacts with its environment. Our physical therapy sessions integrate head-to-toe assessments designed to address the root of your pain and/or poor movement patterns.
Performance Facility
Traditional gyms possess fluff. Unnecessary fancy equipment takes up space and acts as a performance opportunity cost, distracting you from utilizing the most effective strategies to excel in your sport or activity. The facility we practice out of takes the guesswork out of the equation.
As you optimize your baseline structure, your performance efficiency improves. Normalizing your resting vitals improves your ability to run a marathon. Similarly, optimizing your weight-bearing posture improves your ability to shoot a basketball. Specificity is the name of the game. If you desire to improve your baseball swing, we address rotational hip utilization. If you wish to increase your vertical, we improve plyometric force production.
